Bohunt Education Trust Shortlisted as Best Multi-Academy Trust of the Year in TES Schools Awards 2026

School News

Bohunt Education Trust (BET) has been shortlisted for Best Multi-Academy Trust (10 schools or more) in the national TES Schools Awards 2026.

This year, BET ranks as the highest-performing large multi-academy trust in England—first for Attainment 8 and second for Basics 5 in the DfE league tables.

This recognition highlights BET’s exceptional leadership, forward-thinking approach, and unwavering commitment to providing high-quality education across all its schools.

The TES Schools Awards celebrate the outstanding contributions of teachers, schools and trusts in both state and independent sectors.

Neil Strowger, Trust Leader of Bohunt Education Trust, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for Trust of the Year. This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our staff, the ambition of our pupils, and the strength of collaboration across our schools. As a multi-academy trust, we are committed to delivering high-quality education and meaningful opportunities for every student in our care, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see that work acknowledged at this level.’

Alistair Halliday, Chair of Bohunt Education Trust Board, said:

“Being shortlisted for Trust of the Year is a proud moment for everyone across BET. It reflects the collective effort, resilience, and shared vision that drive our schools forward every day, and this recognition reinforces our commitment to continuing that journey together.”

Starting from a single school, Bohunt School in Liphook, Hampshire, BET has grown into a thriving multi-academy trust of ten schools across the South of England, having further expanded its provision in 2025 by welcoming a second primary school, Rusper Primary in Horsham.

The TES Schools Awards ceremony will be held on 19 June 2026 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
