Polly joined BET from a career in PR and communications across health, charity, corporate and consumer sectors, working for clients including innocent drinks and Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.
Passionate about writing and education, Polly is responsible for the PR and marketing of BET and supports its schools with publicity, digital and traditional marketing, crisis event management to communicate the very best of BET and its schools to stakeholders. Polly is also responsible collating the Trust magazine, BETTER Times and for the BET Awards; an annual, all-trust event that celebrates the exceptional staff across the Trust.
Polly is a qualified English teacher, with four years’ experience teaching in secondary schools across the South. Shortlisted for ‘Best New Blog’ in the UK’s biggest parenting awards and longlisted in national writing competitions, she is a writer, English tutor, marathon runner and former member of the National Union of Journalists and the PRCA.
