TeachMeet @ The Costello School

Bohunt Education Trust (BET) is proud to invite any teacher from primary, secondary schools or colleges to the first TeachMeet event at The Costello School, Basingstoke.

The free event, organised by award-winning teacher, Dr Kelly Richens, from Costello School, sees keynote speaker Amjad Ali, himself a teacher, trainer and TEDx Speaker, host this informal meeting for educators to share ideas, thoughts and innovations in the profession.

Mr Ali will give a presentation to guests and BET looks forward to seeing as many participants as possible join in the discussions on the day. This TeachMeet event will enable teachers from across the Country to come together to share ideas about education and best practice, demonstrating something BET champions: collaboration and integration across the education sector.

Dr Richens said, “The idea behind it is to get teachers from all phases – primary, secondary and colleges – to come together with their own ideas on teaching. Schools compete for students but Teachmeet breaks down the barriers between schools and means we can work collaboratively to enhance students’ learning.”

Teachers who attend the event at The Costello School will be automatically entered into a raffle draw and receive a BET goodie bag.

The event on Thursday 28 March will be held from 4.30pm – 6.30pm.
